ORIGIN, FRAMEWORK AND POLITICAL REASONS OF THE CALIPHATE

An analysis of Isis, between Iraq and Syria, and of the rapid evolution of the countries in the Muslim area after the outbreak of the Arab Spring: what is Isis, what’s its framework and what are the political reasons hidden behind its advance? Two are the strong points of the caliphate: on one hand Isis’ ability to take advantage of internal divisions of opponents in order to achieve victories and to make new converts; on the other hand the fact that the Sunnis find help in Isis against Shiites and Iran in Syria and Iraq.

Another tactic is the war of water, an insidious and devastating strategy, which is thousands of years old and which can claim more victims than the "traditional" weapons: an emergency that forces Western countries to take measures and find solutions against the advance of the caliphate.
