A charming journey in time discovering Tridentvm, the underground city.

Free guided tours of Tridentum and of the exhibition "Ostriche e vino. In cucina con gli antichi romani" (Oysters and wine. In the kitchen with the Ancient Romans)
The guided tour ends in Palazzo Roccabruna (where archaeologists have brought to light relics from the first and second centuries A.D., when the urban development of the municipium of Tridentum topped out), which hosts the provincial Winehouse of Trentino; here, from 17.00, visitors can taste a glass of TRENTODOC wine and a selection of local products (cost: 5 €).
S.A.S.S. Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas (Underground Archaeological Site SASS)
Under the historical centre of Trento is the ancient Tridentum, founded by the Romans in the first century BC and absorbed over the centuries in the medieval and modern city.
The S.A.S.S. is the symbol site of Tridentum: two thousand years of history, 1,700 square metres of Roman town in a fascinating and picturesque arrangement,
Opening times: from Tuesday to Sunday: 9-13 / 14-17.30; closed on Monday (if not holiday), 25 December, 1 January.

Tickets: 2,50 €; reduced price tickets: 1,50 €; free admission: children and youngsters up to the age of 14 or in possession of Trentino Guest Card e Museum Pass.

The exhibition hosted in the Underground Archaeological Site SASS proposes a survey of the eating habits and of cooking in Roman times on the river Adige.
Interesting objects from a distant past, between the first and fourth century BC, are exhibited for the first time to the public.
